Hi everyone! How are you today? I was hoping we would jump straight into spring yesterday, I'm afraid winter reinstalled and that makes me really sad:(. Hate it! Still, the card I made for this week's challenge at Just Magnolia and Hanglar and Stanglar is bright and shiny and makes me feel the warmth of spring. Hope it'll do the same with you:)

This week the challenge is Anything Goes with the option of STITCHING at Just Magnolia and we are sponsored by Simon Says Stamp with a fab $25 voucher for the lucky winner to spend in their store. Mo Manning- Bunches!

Hi there my lovelies! I'm a bit late today with my Mo Manning DT card:(. It's the first day of spring and my head is totally elsewhere:). I've made lots of cards these days; I love to make them but I also hate working under pressure and that's what happened eventually. Still I'm happy when I see people enjoying them:) You know what I mean:).

Now, let's go back to Mo's Digital pencil Too where we have an exciting new challenge for you:

Today at Mo's we have some surprises for you: we're thrilled to welcome Tracy MacDonald to our Design Team! Please take a few minutes to pop on over to Tracy's blog to take a peek at her amazing work! Plus, Pat has come with this great idea of presenting Mo's design team ladies each week, starting with Alina. Her work is so clever and unique, we are so happy to have her.

What a fabulous idea, Pat! That's what I call a sound, clear mind, unlike mine...lol.

My card features one of Mo's sweeties; I just love this one- the image, I mean:)- and I guess everybody does!. It's called Bunches and you can find it here in the store.

I went for some fancy folds this time and some strange colors...lol. I don't especially like the result but since the image is so beautiful no one will notice the rest:))

Here's my take on this one:

I chose these two adorable guys to make a card for Mum, with the 8th of March- Mother's Day- drawing near, I thought this could be a nice gift. I went a bit strange in color choice, lol, but well, it always turns different than expected:). I wrote the "Mom" word in Photoshop as childish as I could and also added some stamped corners to add a bit of interest. Hope you like it:)

For me, it was not so easy to make as I wanted to drop the embellies and make it useful as a bookmark. I also thought of a pocket for it with acetate cover.

Hi there! Time for me to show you a Mo Manning card featuring this lovely couple I meant to color for a while now called Date; I didn't have a particular recipient or a special occasion in mind; I guess I will just keep it:)

Digital Pencil Too- Bingo Time

Hi everyone! First, I would like to thank all of you who follow my blog; I know how precious time is and I'm grateful you can spare a minute to take a look at my creations! If you can find some inspiration while here, then your time is not wasted, if not, I'm guessing my little one is to blame because he wouldn't let me be creative lately...lol. I have to resume to simple cards these days, something more elaborate would require cleaning up my craft space, something I'm not prepared for just yet...lol. But since it takes me more to find the things I need than to actually make the card, I'll have to take it as an option:)

So, this is a card I made over a few days, hence the lack of cohesion...lol. Still, the fact remains that I love this image and wanted to have it colored eventually. It so reminds me of my little one and his lil cousin, they are the cutest fellows ever and Mo must have paid us a visit because she drew them exactly as they are:)

Without further ado, it's challenge day at Mo's Digital Pencil Too and this time, our sweet fellow Sheila came up with a BINGO table! That's so clever!!! Loved this one!

You know the drill: just pick three... either horizontally, diagonally or vertically and use all three on your card!!! I picked Dies- Brads-Dry embossing. That was not easy task as mine is a boys' card so no lace, pearls, flowers and fancy stuff. But I bet I'll see lots of these sweet things this week:)!!!

I chose to eventually ink and color up some of my new stamps (well, new for me, cause I haven't used them yet:(), starting with this delicious couple- called Cuddly Siblings. I have a fixation on purple and pinks lately, colors I didn't ususally use in the past. I love how this purple and dark orange one turned out, hope you like it too:)

I'm not very good at following sketches, not even my own ones...lol, but I did my best with this baby card I had to make for a friend of mine who has just had her lil girl's christening. I always use Mo's babies when I need a christening card; the Magnolia babies are also adorable but some people are not prepared to get a "mouthless" baby card:)

Hi there my lovelies! How are you today:) I'm in a pink and girly mood so I'm gonna share with you a cute card I made for this week's challenge over at Digital Pencil Too where my sweet teamie Dorcas wants to see:

I believe it all refers to cardmaking...well crafting at most:).

My card was ready in no time because I used "all my favorite things":) Well, not quite all, but when I don't have to rack my brains to invent new things and just add the embellies I'm familiar with, everything comes out so easily. So like any girl (well, almost:)), I made a girly card with the adiacent flowers, lace and ribbon and of course a roses DP (my favorite papers all have roses on...lol). It's not the most spectacular card ever but the image turns it into a lovely one:) It really makes all the difference... so, thanks Mo:)

Just Magnolia Challenge- Window Card

Hi there dear friends; I'm back with a colorful and quite simple Magnolia card especially made for this week's challenge over at Just Magnolia and hAnglar & sTanglar. I'm the hostess this week and I got this idea of a

Window/door somewhere on your card!

I thought this could be a nice and challenging theme; it might appear a bit restrictive at first but there are so many possible interpretations! You can either stamp a window or door somewhere, you can cut through your card or make a shaker card; just let your imagination soar!

I made a quite simple window card and used one of my newest stamps, which I simply adore from the Sweet Crazy Love Collection- Tilda sending Love Letter.

Fabulous Friday – use Vellum, Arcylic or Transparency, Paper Crafting Journey -Floral, Truly Scrumptious - something forgotten (spellbinder die), Whimsical Wednesdays - anything goes,

Buna dragi prieteni! Este vineri si deci o noua provocare la Just Magnolia , unde sunt gazda saptamana aceasta si va propun o tema interesanta cu multe posibilitati de interpretare: vreau sa vad o fereastra/usa undeva pe creatia voastra. Poate sa fie o imagine, o stampila dar puteti si sa "taiati" o fereastra sau sa asamblati o "shaker card", o felicitare cu o fereastra in care puteti introduce bile colorate sau alte bucati mici din orice material care suna in momentul in care o scuturati (asa, cam ca si jucariile pentru bebelusi:)). Sunt multe tutoriale pe internet, sunt foarte amuzante si usor de realizat. Am si eu cateva pe blog, puteti sa le vedeti aici sau aici, etc.

Felicitarea mea de astazi este simpla, imaginea este din colectia noua Magnolia- Sweet Crazy Love Collection - Tilda sending Love Letter , hartia este Crate Paper 6" x 6" Pad - Portrait, foarte draga mie, iar florile sunt Wild Orchid Crafts. Am utilizat o matrita Spellbinders mai veche (nu stiu daca se mai gaseste) pentru a "taia" fereastra, amn adaugat o folie de acetat si am cusut elementele. Fluturele si garduletul sunt matrite Magnolia.

Cam atat ar fi despre felicitarea mea. Pentru mai multa inspiratie va invit sa vizitati blogul principal pentru a vedea superbele felicitari ale colegelor mele. Nu uitati, pentru a intra in competitie trebuie sa utilizati cel putin o imagine Magnolia sau Hanglar/Stanglar pe creatia voastra! Va multumesc pentru vizita!

Mo Manning Winter Fairies- DT card

Hi everyone and thanks for coming by today! I managed to get several cards done this week and realized I can also be effective...when I have to ...lol. I'm really fond of the one I'm showing you today because these two gorgeous Mo Manning winter fairies captured my heart the moment I saw them on the Digital Pencil Blog! Since I couldn't decide upon which one I love most I used them both and I think they make a great couple:)

Our current challenge at Digital Pencil Too set by our beloved Pat is

Now we just know this is one favourite technique for all of you (for Pat especially...hehe ) so we expect lots of you to join in the fun this week. All you have to do is to stitch something... or even pretend to:) to be in the draw for some gorgeous Mo images. Pentru ca nu am reusit sa ma decid care dintre cele doua imi place mai mult am hotarat sa le imbin si sa realizez o mica scena. Imaginile sunt colorate cu markere copics si toate elementele sunt cusute pentru ca tema provocarii noastre de aceasta saptamana la Digital Pencil Too este "Stitching" (real or faux) ceea ce inseamna ca trebuie sa apara orice fel de cusatura undeva pe creatia voastra, fie ea reala sau falsa (adica sugerata cu ajutorul unui pix cu gel sau marker). Pentru inspiratie puteti sa vizitati blogurile colegelor mele pornind de la blogul principal Digital Pencil Too Challenge Blog.

Clean and Simple Valentine Card

Hi dear all! Hope you are having a fabulous week and that things are great wherever you may be! We are thrilled so many of you have joined us these past weeks at Digital Pencil Too, this means you are, like us, really fond of Mo's images. Therefore, we have some fantastic challenges for you and some surprises on the way:). To give you a picture of Mo's generosity, read carefully the following lines:

Mo has decided to award one prize

In other words...

For this week's challenge, our sweet friend Pat decided to give a bit of rest to our brains and chose a "simple" theme:

So, all I had to do was to color an image, pick a paper and stick them together on a blank card. If you know me, you also know I don't do CAS so leaving out embellies was the hardest part:) To resist temptation I chose these already embellished Webster's Pages Vellum paper and voila:

This is my first Valentine Card for the year and my stamp choice couldn't have been other than this gorgeous Mo Manning image called Ragged Romeo. Aren't these two too cute?

Of course I had to add a bit of ribbon and a lil flower, otherwise it wouldn't seem it was mine...lol.

Anything Goes at Just Magnolia

Hi there my sweet friends, visitors and Maggie lovers! Hope your year started well and it's gonna get better and better:)

It's the first Friday of the year so we have the first challenge for 2012 at

The challenge is Anything Goes with the option of Happy New Year and/or to use something new on your project. Well I guess mine meets all these requirements. It's the first time I do merging with rubber stamps; it's a bit tricky, I think I might need more practice or a different method:) I am not quite happy with the position of the stamps; I thought it would look great after being colored, well, not all cards are perfect, that's the charm of them being handmade:)

Hi there my dear friends! Hope you had a wonderful Christmas holiday and your batteries are fully charged now and ready for a new year abounding in wonderful things!

This is our last challenge for 2011 at Mo's Digital Pencil Too and we have something special in mind for you. All you have to do in order to be eligible for 5$ shopping spree in Mo's store is to share with us your favourite Mo project you made in 2011. As simple as that.

Hi there my lovelies! It's been a topsy-turvy week for me and the following ones don't seem to be much more peaceful either; but I'm glad family and friends will be there to fill up my days and ears:)).
It's challenge day at Mo's Digital Pencil Too and I'm going to show you the last Christmas card I made with Mo's images. Unfortunately I run out of black in my printer and since I was in such a hurry to have the cards done I printed this one in an awkward colour; the image is really wonderful, you can check it here in Mo's store, but they way it turned out, even coloured is not that successful...lol.

Mo's DP2 Challenge- The Great Outdoors

Hi everyone! This is going to be a short post as we celebrate the National Day today which means my little one is at home:) In translation, he makes sure I don't sit in front of the computer (or anywhere else out of his sight:)) for more than 1 minute.

So this is the card I made a couple of days ago for this week's challenge over at DP2 is The Great Outdoors, which means you are supposed to place Mo's characters outside or just use your imagination to create something in order to suggest "outdoors":) Of course, bear in mind your creation must have a Mo image on:)

I had to take several pictures; maybe some of you would like to make something similar. So, all you have to do is to cut 3 panels ( I wanted to have a separate panel for the writing) , punch a hole in the corner through all three and then attach something like a key ring or even a brad to bind them all. As simple as that.

I struggled a bit with this one; I don't usually do pink; thought of making a Christmas card then I changed my mind for a sweet girly one. It didn't turn out as I wanted; I kept having the feeling more colours had to be added, lol, you know me, I love colourful, but well, it's a challenge and I did my best.

Hello dear all! I took a little "me" time today and decided to make something more elaborate and since it took me half a day, I guess I'll stick to cards for a while from now on:) I wanted to eventually color my new Edwin (which is my favorite stamp from the Magnolia Christmas Dreams collection), mix warm and cold colors and use chocolate:) So it turned into a box with an easel card on top. Hope you like it:

Wintertime at Mo's!

Hey there, my sweet friends! It's great to be back with another great challenge at Mo's DP2 Challenge Blog! set by our super-smart, -talented and -funny sistah Pat :

WINTER!

As simple as that! Now, this is one of those tasks you were just about to do but only needed a hint, weren't you?:) ; I know we are all into Christmas and winter cards these days, so all you have to do is to share them with us! Of course, you'll just have to make sure they have a Mo image on before submitting it to Mr. Inlinkz:)!

I have no idea how to call the "thing" ...lol I have to show you today; it's a sort of card in a box or with a box; well, it's something I meant to hang on the wall and it's quite lovely and bright if you could see it on my dining room wall, well that was before my 2 year old came home and started pointing at it. Generally, he takes no interest in my cards which are all over and even within his reach. Moreover, when one happens to fall from a shelf he immediately brings it to me, knowing he is not to play with. But this one he just had to examine closely and started laughing and making faces; "grandes chaussettes" he said- meaning "big socks" lol; that's what he got from it. I had to hide it eventually before starting pulling the tiny bells!

This was my first Mo Manning image and since last year I only had the time to make one card with it just thought I'd use it again. The image is called Christmas Morn and I love it to bits!

In case any of you would love to try this out, it's quite simple: make a box lid- mine is 5.5 inches square and just glue it to a thick base cardstock (mine is 7 per 7 inches). You can embellish the edges however you like. Just a tip: next time I would use paper lace - it's easier to adhere it and make a frame round the window:)

Just Magnolia DT- A Gift for you

Hi again! This is my 3rd card in two days, not that bad, says I:). I made a window card for our new challenge at Just Magnolia and hAnglar & sTanglar;

We have a color challenge this week, so you will have to make sure your card has mainly black/grey, red and white on it before submitting it to the blue frog on the challenge blog.

Although it might look simple to you, this was not the easiest card to make. I had to cut through all those layers of papers, not all at once, and believe me, they were quite some. Plus I did some paper piecing with some huge old scissors, as all my other 10 (lol) were somewhere well placed all together...lol. Hope someday when I'll be looking for my glasses (which I don't have yet) I shall find them all.

Fancy Folds- Organizer

Hi everyone! It's time for challenge 108 at Digital Pencil Too and this time we would like you to think a bit outside the box and do some fancy folds- either a card or a 3D project, it's entirely up to your imagination.

Now, it ocurred to me to try something sweet and useful at the time; it's been a while since I wanted to color up these sweet teenage (!) fairies from Mo Manning and here they are eventually. I just adore them- aren't they sooo beautiful!!! They are called Mia and Pia and can be found here and here in the store:). I wasn't sure which one I loved more so I used them both:)

I also included a calendar and cut lots of papers ; still, there's room left, as I made quite a deep box:). It is made of cardboard and looks quite elegant IRL. The dimensions are only 4 per 5,5 inches and the papers I used are all digital from Zoe Pearn.

Hope you guys can figure it out; sorry for the many pictures; just tried to show it as thoroughly as possible. And here's a close-up of the little pencil. I thought I might "dress it up" with the same patterned paper:)

Hi dear all! I have a sweet Christmas card for you today, something different from what I normally do. A couple of weeks ago I won some digis from Little Miss Muffet and since I found them so cute I really wanted to be their guest designer for this fortnight. I had in mind more like a child's card, a shaker card naturally:), so I chose this Christmas Dino, perfect for a sweet Chrissy card.

It's Thursday again so time for another fun challenge at Digital Pencil Too! First of all I have to tell you we were amazed at the awesome number of entries we had last week: 64!!! Wow! Just Magnolia DT- Christmas Gift Box

Hi everyone! Hope you are having a great week and that your weekend is going to be splendid!

It's Friday, so we have all the reasons to enjoy and moreover, it's time for a great new challenge at Just Magnolia and hAnglar and sTanglar blog; Mandy is our super-talented hostess for this week and she decided it was time for us to ink up our adorable Christmas Maggies, get into a holiday mood and create!

I made a gift box for today using one of my favorite Maggies called Tilda with wedding gifts from a wedding collection, which I always thought as being from the Merry Little Christmas one...lol and a decorated Christmas Tree from Mo Manning. I think these two work well together.

I love working with acetate and thought I could cut a window in the lid and sew acetate. It's just a simple box, not an exploding one, I had in mind a simple gift holder so the inside is not decorated.
I also added some cookies just to have an idea.

Mo Manning Christmas Card

Hi dear all! Don't know about you, but we seem to jump straight into winter here; it's freezing outside and the trees are almost naked:). Don't even know when was autumn this year. Quite strange.

So, I'm back with a Christmas card. Our dearest Elaine has a brand new challenge for us over at Digital Pencil Too and she wants you to

use your favorite image + sentiment

Now, this is a difficult one for me, I must admit. Needles to say all Mo's images are my favorite, and each new image she comes up with is a favorite too. Therefore, I went for her most recent creations and since I couldn't choose among these three gorgeous little carolers I merged the images and created this lovely Christmas scene. Hope this will inspire you into making some Chrissy cards.

I'll be back one of these days with a tutorial on merging images in Photoshop, just have to ask permission from Mo,as I already have it done.

Just Magnolia DT card

Hi there dear friends! I have a special announcement for you today: one of my crafting "idols" out there, Bev Rochester, has asked me to join the Just Magnolia design team. Needles to say my answer was "YES!!!" although I must admit I didn't have in mind joining any DT for the moment. I thought I'd leave that for my senior years...lol. But I practically started my crafting journey drooling over my new teamies' blogs and I just couldn't say no. Plus, I've really missed my Maggies; no idea why these mouth-less little guys have found a way to my heart and I love creating things with them.

I thought I'd use some of my sunny days Magnolias before jumping straight into winter and Chrissy cards. I somehow want to delay that:) I don't plan making lots of Chrissy cards this year, no time for this anyways.

Hi there! Thank you for being here, I'm overwhelmed by your support and kind words. This is a scheduled post; we are planning a one week vacation to Rome, so just wanted to have this done before we leave.

Now, what can be simpler than this? Music is part of our lives, so is crafting. Let's mix them up, I'm sure the result can't be but wonderful:)

For my card, I was inspired by a French song- Laam- Petite Soeur; I'm a French language, culture and music lover, I even speak French with my little one (who goes to a German speaking kindergarten and we are Romanians...lol).

I have been planning making a card for my sister for a long time; just didn't seem to find the right time and state of mind for that. Actually, when I first saw this image on Dorcas' blog, I knew I had to have it. I even went so far as to ask the card from Dorcas:) but she also had it done for her sis. Baby Christening Card

Hi everyone! It's time for another challenge over at Mo's Digital Pencil Too but first I would like to thank all of you who played along for the last 4 challenges cause I was responsible for the themes... hehe. We've had lots of fun, so why not keep it that way and join another fun challenge this time picked by our most wonderful teamie Elaine:

Patchwork

Isn't that funny? I love playing with paper scraps, don't you? So, it's time for you to put together some bits and pieces of paper or whatever crosses your mind and come up with a patchwork somewhere on your card. If you need some inspiration you'll get plenty on the challenge blog so you'd better head there after taking a look at my card.

It's a card I made on request and I can tell you lots of paper and stitching went into this. Not to mention the time:). At first, I expected to use scraps but my scraps didn't fit the theme, so I ended up using lots of papers, although you can't tell it. Still, I expect you to go for scraps this time:)

The card/box card is 1 inch thick; so in case you would like to try this shape, I recommend you make it thinner, say half an inch, depends on how high your embellishing is.

I used my favorite baby boy image, it's just perfect for the occasion. You can find it here in Mo's store; of course there's a bald baby version and a girl version too:)

The sentiments are in Romanian and mean: "Congratulations" and "Your baby boy was born; Be ready for a love greater than life!"

I also added patchwork on the front of the card ; the shape is cut with Go Kreate dies.

Hi everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Digital Pencil Too and it was my turn to host again. I'm aware seasons and temperature vary around the globe, but here in Romania we start to feel autumn chills and see nice shades of rusty reds in foliage; so I thought an autumn theme would be quite appropriate. Here's an inspiration pic for you today- a nice bouquet of flowers:

I made a simple card, nothing fancy, I just wanted to color up this gorgeous Mo Manning image called Raking ever since I first saw it. I love this boy's attitude and this image can be used on so many occasions!

Lili of the Valley -Missing You Shaker Card

Hi everyone! Hubby took our little one to spend some father-son quality time this morning, so I had a couple of hours to sit and make a Lili of the Valley card. I've really missed my LOTV stamps lately, I still have about 10 more I haven't even inked yet (and 10 more to come from the Christmas collection:)) and it was quite difficult to pick one. This week challenge over at Lili of the Valley chosen by the most talented Pops is "Missing you", so this helped me out to narrow down my image choice. Eventually I went for this adorable Milly cuddle time, isn't she the cutest little girl?

And yes, it's a shaker card- I know, I've been making lots of these lately:)- but I really enjoy making them and people like them too- since I had in mind a kid recipient, I guess a clanking toy would always be welcome:). Digital Pencil Too- Challenge 99th- Boy Attitude

Hi there dear friends! We reached challenge 99 over at Digital Pencil Too, I've only been there since the 59th to be accurate:) and DT member for about the last 10 chellenges but I'm totally addicted to Mo's images; and this addiction grows with every new drawing she comes up with, and I can tell you she's a really prolific lady:)

It was again my turn to choose a theme and this time I wanted something for a boy. I have mainly boys in my family for now- they all count on me for a girl...lol; but for now we would love to see some

"BOY ATTITUDE"

on your cards; I guess that would be a simple task as all Mo's characters have a well defined attitude towards everything:).

I chose one of Mo's newest images, called Dare, a young man Mo imagined as ready to set forth on life's journey. Well, I had in mind more of a "travelling" youngster who is ready to go and see the world as plain as that. The inside is simple, just to compliment the front, no gadgets, no swirls...lol.

Hi everyone! It's been a week already since I last posted; yes, I guess that makes me a lazy crafter:(. I had a couple of cards in mind but then I thought spending more outdoor time and less computer and indoor time and I've really enjoyed that.

Mo Manning School Set

Hi my dear friends! Thursdays are always special to me because they announce a new exciting challenge for us over at Digital Pencil Too! This time we are going back to school!!! No idea how this works for you out there in the wide wild world lol but here in Romania the school year used to begin on the 15th of September, that's if the Education minister doesn't have a change mood overnight and have this changed too, as it usually happens with all the decisions in this field. It's not a laughing matter, I'm just a bit bitter about how educational matters are dealt with in my country lately and had none to complain to...:)

Ok, so back to more simple matters, such as this school set I had in mind to make for this week's challenge. Have you seen Mo's recent images? I swear I spent about 2 hours deciding on what images to ask for this months' cards I have to make as member of the DT. I just have to have them all and Mo has been so prolific these past weeks!!! Gosh, and there are so many from the old ones I simply HAVE to color too!!!

Hi dear all! I'm back again to show you my 3rd paper project I made for Just Magnolia as Guest Designer. Claudia prepared for us a themed challenge- use a quirk or funny sentiment. Normally this wouldn't be a problem but somehow I couldn't find a funny Magnolia in my stash...lol. So I went for this Strawberry Yummy Tilda I have been dying to color for some time and for a more unusual sentiment, something I don't normally use.

So, here's my card:

I really enjoy making shaker cards- love the dimension on them and the fact that I can add many kinds of little stuff in the inside to make it special.

I paper-pieced Tilda's dress and added some sort of flowersoft in the inside.

Just Magolia GDT- Summer Calendar

Hi my lovelies! I have a short post for you today- my eyes are half closed and I'm aware that in five hours time my bedroom's door will roughly open and my little one will jump on my bed starting to pinch, bite and pull my hair. No time to waste then.

So,this is my second week as GDT for Just Magnolia and the challenge theme put forward by the DT girls is what else than "Holiday Fun!". Hope many of you are still enjoying your summer breaks; if not, this is a perfect occasion for you to plunge into a holiday mood and start creating:)

I'll show you today a summer calendar; my idea of having fun is right now observing the beautiful summery nature corners with all its lovely creatures the most talented Pauline has concentrated in the Magnolia stamps. I really enjoyed putting these 3 stamps together; I even added a few butterflies here and there for the cohesion.

The frame I created around the image includes mosaics and quilled flowers, some of my former hobbies:). The size of the calendar is that of an A4 paper and DP is DCWV Mariposa- 8x8 paper pad.

I have a bad camera these days and I also put acetate on to protect the colored image -sorry for the blurred picture.

I kept simple the calendar pages- maybe I shall add more later:)

Peek-a-boo Treat Box!

Hello everyone! We have a new exciting challenge for you this week at Digital Pencil Too and hope many of you will be happy to play along: "Anything but a Card"! So, time for us to think outside the box for a minute and make something different using one of Mo's gorgeous images.

Ever since I've bought my Scor-pal I've been dreaming of making lots of boxes. Now was the time for me to try a new one. I wanted it to be a candy holder for a friend of mine who celebrated her birthday 2 weeks ago...lol. Which is worse is that I made this box about a week ago and half of the candies are gone...:) Hopefully I shall refill it and give it to her one day:)

The peek-a-boo box template is a design by the very talented Brenda Quintana and you can find it on the Splitcoaststampers site. I changed the dimensions as I wanted my box to be bigger- so the size of the cardstock is 8"x19". The upper side of the box will then be 4"x4" just enough to fit this adorable Mo Manning image- Bronte wants it now- one of those images which stick with me and always bring a smile on my face.

Here's a picture of the template in case someone wants to try this out. Click on the picture to enlarge it- hope you can see the dimensions, sorry for having written them in pencil:(. Hi dear friends!

I'm so happy I can eventually share with you a Magnolia card! I think it's been months now since I last made one although I'm completely in love with the Butterfly Dreams and Sweet Rainbow collections- who isn't - and despite all the controversy I think this new The Winner Takes It All set is absolutely adorable. I just wish I had time to make cards...lol:) It's been a topsy-turvy vacation for me so far with little if none crafting time but somehow I managed to fulfill my DT tasks and even accept a new thrilling GDT spot. Well, I simply couldn't say no when my superhero Bev asked me to be guest designer for August at Just Magnolia. You know I love my Maggies and it's an absolute honor to be part of such a talented group of ladies.

I used three Magnolia stamps to put together my little scene; two of them being inked for the first time; I just enjoyed coloring them up and assembling this card. I love bright cheerful colors and this rainbow themed card was the perfect opportunity for me to add as much color as I liked. Maybe I went a bit overboard but well, when don't I...hehe?

Sweet, sweet, sweet...

Hi everyone!

It's Thursday again and I have a sweet card for you today: a cake card:) We have a high calorie challenge for you over at Digital Pencil Too this week: "Something sweet- food related!"- so why don't you browse through your Mo's images or in Mo's store to see what inspires you most for this week's challenge. There are so many food related images to choose from!!!

I chose Sugar because I love fairies and fairies who can make appear out of nowhere so many cakes are the best:)) It was such fun to color this image although I have a really poor collection of light pastel markers, well, I did my best with what I have. Definitely, more markers are on my wishlist. I kind of neglected the coloring part lately. You know, many people in my country don't really get the idea of coloring and some of them even think the image is printed:) I always have to mention that it is hand-colored and then I get the "why would anyone do this" look and by the time I explain things about copyright and stuff they really come to value the card. Anyways, if any Romanian cardmaker is reading this, I would love to meet you just to hear other perspectives too:)

The form of the card is in fact one of the cakes in the image I magnified and printed on cardstock then used it as a template.

Have a Great Summer Vacation!

Hello everybody! How are you today? Hope you are feeling just as excited as I am with my seaside vacation just one day away! Wooohoo! Can't wait! In the meantime, I thought I would make a boy card for a change.

Our challenge theme at Digital Pencil Too settled by my super talented teamie Elaine is "Summer vacation!" Well, currently I'm on a babysitting vacation hehe and my house seems to be always on vacation too! We have a hard time finding a path through all the toys and cars and my 2 year old says the word "truck" (yes, in English, no idea why because I only speak French with him...lol... and we are Romanian...hehe) about 100 times a day, much more often than Mama or Dad, not to mention food related stuff which are totally uninteresting:)

So I found this cute little boy among Mo's older images in the old shop and just had to color it up. The wheel is one of the many of many sizes I collect from all over the place about 3 times a day, so I thought I would add one to my card:) When my boy saw the card he immediately exclaimed: "trucky" , I guess on the same tone as Archimedes screamed "Eureka" about 2 thousand years ago...lol. He didn't even noticed the boy. We eat, sleep and bath with about 10 cars of all sizes set in a very precise order.

Well, that's about my little one. He's so spoiled, nothing he does could make us angry...poor manipulated parents:))

Emerald Faerie Garden - Nice and Girly Shaker Card

Hey sweets! Hope you are all well and happy! It's time for another challenge over at Emerald Faerie Garden and this time we would love to see something nice and girlie! Now, does it get simpler than this...lol? I thought so too but by the time I wanted to have my image printed I run out of black ink and had no extra cartridge. So I had to color up the only image I had printed a while ago. No idea if Ally is a boy or a girl but looking at the finished card from about 3 arm's lengths (lol) he/she might be a faerie girl just as well:) Anyways it is as adorable as it can get:)

Our Little Princess

Hi peeps! This is my second post for today and a new challenge over at Digital Pencil Too: "black and white plus a contrasting color". Well, this was quite a challenge for me because my comfy zone is all about lots of colors...lol. I chose purple as the third color mainly because I have a big box full of purple flowers:). This gorgeous little girl with cupcake is called Kai is one; there's a boy version too, just as sweet.

"Times to Treasure" at Lili of the Valley!

Hi, everyone! Surely time flies 'cause it's Thursday again and a new challenge at Lili of the Valley you wouldn't want to miss- PINK and BLUE! This is my 4th and last week as guest designer for LOTV, have had a wonderful time and met beautiful people on the way. I would like to welcome my new followers, hope you will find inspiration or just enjoy what you see. If there are some specific details you would like to know about my cards please send me a message; I don't make tutorials at the moment because of the lack of time but would be happy to be of some help to someone:)

I wanted to create a little scene so managed to put together 2 of my newest stamps and I think it turned out nice:). The shape of the card is made with Go Kreate Rectangles set 2 nested dies and some grand oval nestabilities.

$1 Digi by Mo Manning!!!

Hi friends!

This is a short post just to let you all know about MO's new $1 digi. Some of you are aware that periodically Mo makes special digis that she basically "donates" to charity. In the past she has donated to the Make A Wish Foundation as well as Tsunami Relief. Several hundreds of dollars have been raised for these charities and no doubt this one will prove as successful. This time, all proceeds will be going to the Pet Orphans of Southern California.

Lili of the Valley Birthday Card

Hi everyone! This is my 3rd week as Guest Designer for Lili of the Valley. I had little spare time these past few weeks and had to narrow down my work only to DT/GD commitments. In July it will be even worse as we plan some holiday trips bot hopefully should be back on track sometimes in August with a new thrilling Guest Designer spot I shall not reveal to you yet:)

Ok sweets, I have a simple card to show you today. There's a fabulous sketch by Donalda to follow this week at Lili of the Valley Challenge Blog and I really enjoyed playing with those layered panels:) My card was made for a very special friend of mine who celebrated her birthday a couple of days ago. She loves LOTV stamps; no, she's not a cardmaker, just that she always picks as favorite from my cards collection those with lilies on:).
